Feelin Artsy....."Sunday Style"

I was,....really......... I was feelin "artsy" today and wanted to do something a little different. I decided I would create my own background using the Direct-T0-Paper method.

Using Stampin'Up!'s Craft pads, and starting with the lightest color first, I swept the inks all over the card base, hitting it with my heat tool in between colors. Then I took the tip of my scissors and just scratched and distressed the cardstock. I really like the look.

I also really like this stamp set. I am partial to birds as I used to have over 400 in an aviary in my backyard. Yep, over 400. But, I digress so lets get on with the ingredients shall we. Here ya go!

NEW!...Mini Milk Carton Die For The Big Shot

I am having so much fun with all the new Occasions Mini goodies! I just had to create this Mini Milk Carton...........Isn't it just adorable!! This die will be available January 5th.

I also used the NEW Stitched Felt Sweet Pea embellishments and the library clip on top. I LOVE it!! And the cardstock is a new color for me it's Blush Blossom 8 1/2 X 11 #103318. It's not new to Stampin'Up! but I just discovered it and it's a really beautiful "Spring" color. I am going to be filming a video showing how to fold this little milk carton and put it together. I will have that video up here either today or tomorrow.

  I can't wait till January! How about you!!
